Iron and Manganese - 2 meters in 1
- TPTZ (iron) and PAN (manganese) methods of measurement
- Lab grade accuracy and fast response
Neither iron nor manganese are considered dangerous but high concentrations of these metals in water can create a bittersweet or astringent taste. The presence of iron in supplied water is undesirable due to the staining effect on laundry and porcelain. Manganese, in high concentrations, can produce corrosion and scaling in pipes, which is a serious industrial concern. The HANNA instruments® solution for these applications is the HI 93742, a hand-held photometer which measures low range iron and manganese. The software driven procedure makes this meter user-friendly with step-by-step instructions.
HI 93742 is supplied with 2 cuvets, battery and instructions. |
